Keeping up with fashion

My end of 2015 treat from Saks 5th Ave. I've been wanting this bag since early last year and finally saved up enough money to purchase it in cash. I am a big fan of the Chloe collections in bags and perfumes. 

You don't have to always spend a lot of money in order to look or smell good. I recently purchased some attire from the gap and H&M to add to my existing wardrobe. Below I fell in love with the scarf from H&M and the perfume from the gap called "Close" which works with my body chemistry. Both items were on sale half off and fit in with my kind of style.

I've always been a fanatic of plaids especially to wear in the Fall and Winter. To me dark and light plaid colors really bring out the plaid designs. I always loved green, brown and red plaid colors for a skirt and top. Shown below is my plaid skirt I bought at Talbots which I consider my favorite. My turtleneck is from Macy's which cost me $10 which was a great bargain since I paid $118 for the skirt. The necklace is from jewelmint.com which to me is a perfect match.

I really liked Alexa Chungs interview in Nylon magazine for October. I think that she's very artistic and glamorous for such a young age. Check it out!

If possible, always check for ideas on how to dress and wear certain outfits. Just because it zips or bottoms up doesn't mean it fits or looks good. You can look in fashion magazine of check with someone at a clothing store while trying them on. My personal favorite fashion ideas come from Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Nylon, Allure, Vanity Fair and Essence magazines. Vogue and Elle magazines from July, Clothes from Talbots, New York & Company and Tommy Hilfiger.

I usually don't buy Eau de Toilette but this particular one has listed on my body for more than a day. But I would recommend to get a free sample of some Eau de Toilette perfumes before purchasing because it's no use of buying fragrances that don't last especially when you pay a small fortune for them.
